Now the nicer weather has suddenly appeared are you thinking about re-freshing your skincare routine? It’s an ideal time to switch up your products and ensure you are using the essentials for glowing skin.💫

Here’s my top 4 must-have products that everyone should be using:

🌸SPF: sun damage is without doubt the biggest cause of skin ageing and damage. No matter what time of year, but even moreso as the warmer weather arrives, you should be using an SPF of at least 30, that’s on top of anything contained in your foundation. I always apply SPF in the morning underneath make-up before I leave the house.

🌸Vitamin C, is a powerful antioxidant that improves skin tone and texture, hydrates the skin and reduces the signs of ageing. I use a vitamin C moisturiser every day and it really brightens my skin. It’s also known to provide protection against sun damage so combined with your SPF is a win-win.

🌸Hyaluronic acid: this gives an instant moisture boost to your skin if used regularly and therefore fights the signs of ageing. It’s a natural substance that we all have already but that depletes with age. I use a serum both morning and night, my skin feels so much smoother and better for it.

🌸Retinol: this works by increasing the production of collagen so it helps with fine lines, wrinkles and can also fade age spots and pigmentation. Its important to start on a low dosage retinol cream or serum and build up, maybe start using every other day to get your skin used to it also as using too much too quickly can irritate and dry the skin. Retinol should be used at night time after cleansing and before your hyauloric acid and moisturiser .
